This week, Jason challenges the idea that the Kingdom of God is somewhere far away, waiting for us at some future date. Jesus tells us the Kingdom is already here—within us. Looking at Luke and the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11, Jason explores what it means to move from God will do it or I have to do it to let us do it together. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit aren’t distant from us. The Kingdom lives within us, and we’ve been invited into relationship, partnership, and community to use the authority we’ve already been given.

This week, Jason continues exploring the authority God has given us and the power of our words. Throughout Scripture, he points to a pattern: someone believed, and then they spoke. Jairus believed Jesus could heal his daughter and declared what would happen. The woman with the issue of blood said what would happen when she touched His garment. The centurion believed Jesus only needed to speak the word. Again and again, Jesus allowed people to express what they believed and what they wanted. We aren’t called to sit back and wait—we’ve been invited into a partnership with God where faith believes, and then faith speaks.

This week, Jason continues exploring who we’ve been created to be by focusing on the power of our words. The same Spirit that spoke into darkness and brought forth light, the same Spirit Jesus listened to and spoke from, now lives in us. So what are we speaking over our own lives? If our words continually reinforce sickness, lack, anger, fear, or defeat, we’re agreeing with something other than what God says about us. If we want to live differently, we have to speak differently—and to speak differently, we have to be intentional about what we’re hearing.

How do we move from a servant mentality to the mindset of a king? This week, Jason takes us back to David and Goliath and notices something powerful in the story. While everyone else focused on the giant, David kept asking, “Tell me again what the king said.” Even when his own brother questioned his motives and reminded him of his place, David turned away and kept his attention on the king’s words. Maybe that’s how we begin to see ourselves differently too—not by listening to what the world, religion, or even our own doubts say about us, but by continually reminding ourselves what the King says about us.

As we continue our Who We’ve Been Created to Be series, Jason returns to 2 Corinthians 3 and reminds us that when the veil is removed, everything changes. The clearer we see God’s true nature, the clearer we see our own identity. Rather than living with a servant’s mindset shaped by fear and performance, we’re invited to live as sons and daughters who understand the authority, purpose, and freedom we’ve been given. What does it mean to live as part of God’s Kingdom? As we renew our thinking and embrace our identity as sons and daughters of God, we begin to live with the confidence and purpose He intended.

This week, Jason continues our journey into discovering who we’ve been created to be by exploring Mark 11 and Colossians 1. Scripture says there is a mystery hidden for generations, but it’s not meant to remain a mystery: Christ lives in us. Jesus didn’t simply come to show us who God is—He came to reveal who we are. As we begin to understand that we are His body and His Spirit lives within us, we discover that we’ve been given far more than belief—we’ve been given the faith of God.

We begin a new series with one of the oldest questions in Scripture: Who is man? This week, Jason explores how Jesus came not only to reveal the Father, but to reveal us. Through Psalm 8, the Gospels, and the story of Adam and Eve, we discover that Jesus came to restore the glory, authority, and identity humanity lost. As Jason reminds us, when you believe in Jesus, you are saved—but when you discover that Jesus believes in you, your life is transformed.

Jason Forby
I was born into a great family in 1977 and raised up in the typical Midwestern Christian church. In 2007 I encountered the unconditional love of God and was forever changed. As a horse trainer showing horses around the country, we would have church services in the arena on Sunday mornings which eventually led to starting Southern Range Cowboy Church in 2010. Since then, we've been on the amazing journey of discovering what it is to live life as a son of God instead of a religious servant. I hope you'll join us on this incredible, exciting ride!
